Career
Andreas Walkenhorst, born in 1965, is the founding partner of the TERGAU & WALKENHORST law firm. He completed his studies in Physics, majoring in Lighting Technology and Solid State Physics in 1989 and subsequently received a PhD in Superconductivity and Magnetism from the Technical University of Darmstadt. After being a visiting researcher at the prestigious University of Maryland (College Park, USA), he was trained as a patent engineer and patent attorney at Siemens AG and was responsible for Fossil and Nuclear Power Plant and Control Systems Engineering. In 2000, Andreas Walkenhorst started working at the law firm Tergau & Pohl. Together with Dietrich Tergau, he founded the TERGAU & WALKENHORST in 2011 and is now in charge of the Frankfurt am Main location.
