Career
Thomas Bürvenich, born in 1973, graduated Physics from the University of Frankfurt am Main, and obtained his PhD in Theoretical Nuclear Physics at the Institute for Theoretical Nuclear Physics at the University of Frankfurt am Main. This was followed by a research assistant position at the Institutes of Theoretical Physics of the universities in Frankfurt and Erlangen-Nürnberg, as well as postdoctoral visitgin positions at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (USA), the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg and FIAS, the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies. In 2008, he started to work as a patent engineer in the law firm Tergau & Pohl, he became part of TERGAU & WALKENHORST in 2011, and has been working as a patent attorney since 2013.
